The Diagnostic Process
The Diagnostic Process from acceptance of referral to the completion of the final report is expected to be within 4-8 weeks.
We accept self referrals as well as referrals from other professionals and private healthcare insurers.
Initial Screening
Up to 50 minute face to face or remote screening with a Clinician.
Completion of short screening assessment tools.
Short summary report will be provided.
The Diagnostic Tools
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) observation in clinic.
Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised (ADI-R) developmental history.
Additional assessment tools as necessary.
Report and Feedback
Feedback session will be arranged remotely to provide the outcome of the assessment.
Feedback session will also give an opportunity to collaboratively develop needs specific recommendations.
The draft report will be sent to the individual for review and feedback within a 1 week timeframe.
Final report will be sent to the individual and other professionals as previously agreed.
